American team arrives in Aden to investigate murder of Al-Sanabani

ADEN, Sept. 13 (YPA) – An American team from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrived in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, informed sources said on Monday.

According to the sources, the FBI team arrived in Aden amid great secrecy to participate in the investigation into the crime of killing the American National of Yemeni origin, Abdulmalik Al-Sanabani.

Al-Sanabani arrived in Aden airport last Wednesday coming from the United States to visit his family in Yemen, but he was looted and shot dead at a military post of the “9th Brigade” elements affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Tor Al-Baha area, west of Lahj province.

Several American cities have witnessed vigils by the Yemeni and Arab communities, with the participation of human rights and humanitarian organizations, denouncing the murder of Al-Sanabani while returning to his family in Dhamar province, central Yemen, after years of immigration.
