STC is heading to blow up situation in Shabwa

SHABWA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) on Sunday called for a popular uprising next Wednesday against Islah Party authorities loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Shabwa province.

The STC called on the people of the province to participate widely in the mass events, in rejection of the presence of Islah militants in Shabwa, indicating that the armed struggle continues against the looting of the province’s wealth.

This comes after Islah militants stormed the STC’s festival in the town of Abadan in early July.
