Army continues to advance towards Marib city

MARIB, Sept. 02 (YPA) – The Yemeni army continued to advance on Wednesday towards the city of Marib in the battles taking place the province with the Saudi-led coalition forces.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the Sanaa forces advanced from Nakhla area towards “Al Qaed Al Asfal” area in Al Wadi District, north of the city.

As for the ongoing battles in the south of the province, Sanaa forces managed to control and secure Al-Satera area, the last strongholds of the coalition forces in Rahba district.

According to the sources, the Sanaa forces advanced hours after control of Al-Satera towards the positions of the coalition forces in Al Jinnah areas of Harib district, south of the governorate.
