Amran governor stresses need for concerted efforts to combat beggary

AMRAN, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Amran governor, Faisal Jaman, stressed on Sunday the need for concerted efforts to combat the phenomenon of beggary and reduce its damages and negative effects on society.

This came during his meeting to discuss the mechanism of implementing the work of the committees for counting beggars in the province to improve their conditions.

The meeting approved the assignment of the joint operations room in the province to follow up and to confine beggars in the targeted districts of Amran, Al Jabal, Raida, Kharef, Khamer, Houth, Al-Qaflah, and Sufyan.
