President Al-Mashat meets Deputy PM for Economic Affairs

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, met Wednesday with the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs – Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat listened to a comprehensive presentation from Dr. Abu Lahoum on the results of his visit to the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Dhamar and Bayda, and assessing the level of their plans for the year 2021.

The President directed the adoption of the proposals and solutions agreed upon with the leaders of the local authority, which contribute to strengthening community service and implementing development projects planned for the year 2021.

President Al-Mashat also directed the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance to continue to work and visit the rest of the provinces to accelerate work and implementation of the plan approved for the year 2021.

He stressed the need for the provinces’ governors to carry out their duties and implement plans, especially after providing all necessary and procedural facilities.

The President praised the transformation and development witnessed by the Ministry of Finance, especially the automation of financial work and institutional development.
