5.9-magnitude quake strikes off Indonesia

SANAA, Aug.  02 (YPA) – A 5.9-magnitude quake struck off the coast of Indonesia’s easternmost Papua region on Monday (Aug 2), the United States Geological Survey said.

The quake took place about 180km northeast of Tual city and the epicenter was about 12km.

There was no tsunami warning or immediate reports of damage.
