President stresses on national cohesion to foil aggression schemes

SANAA, June 7 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday stressed the importance of strengthening the national cohesion to thwart the aggression schemes that target Yemen.

The president emphasized the importance of coordination between the different national components to confront the aggression escalation against the Yemeni people.

This came during the president’s meeting with Minister of Local Administration Ali bin Ali al-Qaisi and Minister of State for Parliament and Shura Council Affairs Dr. Ali Abu Holiqa, in presence of governor of the capital Sanaa Hamoud Obad.

The meeting discussed developing the controlling performance, and reviewed the activity the Parties Affairs Committee and the political parties’ role in countering the aggression.

It also touched on activating the local councils’ work to tackle citizens’ issues, improve the level of public services and raise revenues.
