LAHJ, Jul. 10 (YPA) – Islah militants have sent military forces to Tor al-Bahah area west of Lahj province, which managed to control Al Madaribah district overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
According to local sources, the commander of the so-called ” Tor al-Bahah Axis” Abu Bakr al-Jubouli, commander of the “4th Brigade”, which is affiliated with the Islah, has in the past hours brought in military reinforcements from the Taiz axis and redeployed them to a number of military positions in the Tor al-Bahah.
The sources explained that Islah leaders have developed new military positions in the areas, and the deployed artillery weapons in Khabit al-Arajaa overlooking Al Madaribah district.
, pointing out that these moves come in response to the movements of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Cuncil(STC) militia in Al Madaribah district and Ras al-Aara near the Strait of Bab al-Mandab.
According to military observers, Islah militants succeeded in opening the Yafa military front with Sana’a forces, with the aim of withdrawing Yafa fighters in the ranks of the “STC” in Abyan and Tor al-Baha, so that they could declare the zero hour to pounce on the city of Aden from the hubs of Abyan and Lahj, in coordination with Saudi forces, after the escalation of the recent dispute with Abu Dhabi.
