About 31 killed, 11 injured in traffic accident in Mozambique

SANAA, Jul. 04 (YPA) – About 31 people were killed and 11 others seriously injured after two trucks collided with a bus in Mozambique, according to Radio Mozambique’s report.

The report said that the accident occurred on Sunday night in the Tavira area of Maputo province.

For his part, a spokesman for the police in the province of Maputo, Juarez Martins, suggested that the accident may have been caused by excessive speed and poor visibility on the road.
