Israeli entity FM welcomes appointment of Bahrain’s ambassador

SANAA, Jun. 30 (YPA) – Israeli entity’s foreign minister, Yair Lapid, welcomed on Wednesday Bahrain’s decision appointing as its ambassador to Tel Aviv.

Lapid said on Twitter: “My warm greetings to Ambassador, Khaled Youssef Al-Jalahma, who took the legal oath before His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, to work as the ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Israel.”

“This is an another step of great importance in strengthening the important relations between Israel and Bahrain,” he added.

Lapid is present in the UAE, where he opened on Tuesday the Israeli embassy in Abu Dhabi, and he is scheduled to open the Consulate General in Dubai today.
