Iranians vote to elect new president

TEHRAN, Jun. 18 (YPA) – Iranians head to the polls on Friday to cast their votes in the presidential elections amid the maintaining  of social space measures.

According to news agencies, the electoral process began at polling stations across Iran since 7 a.m.

Participation in the early hours was described as good and popular since the early hours at polling stations despite the difficulties of the Corona epidemic.

The news agencies said the organizational process is well done and people’s access to the centres is organized in order to maintain social space.

By participating in the elections, the Iranians affirm their support for the democratic process in their country, their support for the Islamic regime and their support for the Islamic republic.
