Al-Qassam Brigades announces start of large missile response against Israel

GAZA, May 17 (YPA) – “Al-Qassam Brigades”, the military wing of “Hamas” movement, announced on Monday that it began a large missile response against Israel.

“This comes in response to the empty orgy of the enemy against our people in the Gaza Strip last night, and the continuous aggression against our people,” the Al-Qassam Brigades said.

The Al-Qassam Brigades confirmed that it bombed the “Hatzerim” air base with a barrage of rockets, and that it renewed the bombing of Kibbutz “Erez” with mortar shells.

The Brigades also directed a missile strike with dozens of missiles to Ashdod, Ashkelon and Beersheba.

Earlier in the day The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that Ashkelon and ‘Kosfim’ site had been bombed with barrages of rocket, in response to the continuous Israeli bombardment against civilians.

Israeli media reported that a number of people were wounded in a direct missile strike on two buildings in Ashdod.
