Armed clashes take place in Taiz

TAIZ, May 30 (YPA) – Armed clashes took place in Taiz province during the early hours of Wednesday, Yemen Press Agency reporter said.

The armed clashes, using various light and medium weapons, occurred between elements of the Muslim Brotherhood and the armed elements of the UAE-backed Salafist Abu Abbas in different areas of Jamal and Tahrir Street.

Taiz province is beset with security chaos due to the spread of armed elements of the Islah Party after it received a heavy blow from the so-called security forces that backed by the UAE forces in the southern provinces during the past two months.
