ABYAN, April 27 (YPA) – An Israeli ship has arrived at the coast of Abyan province, south of Yemen, with a number of UAE officers.
The leader of the so-called “Southern Resistance” residing in Turkey, Adel al-Hasani, stated that Emirati officers, accompanied the Israeli ship that arrived the last week to the coast of Abyan.
Al-Hasani said on Twitter, that six leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia met with the Emirati officers and the Israeli ship’s crew to provide an whole explanation about the presence of Al Qaeda militants in the coastal city of Shakra in the province.
Al-Islah has taken the city of Shakra as the headquarters of its military leadership during confrontations with the “STC” militia, since September 2019.
According to informed sources, the Islah party deployed dozens of al-Qaeda militants who came from Turkey, including leaders in some of its camps in Shabwa and Abyan during the past weeks.
