PM praises health sector’s role in facing various challenges during current stage

SANAA, April 11 (YPA) – Prime Minister, Abdulaziz bin Habtoor praised on Sunday the role of the health sector and its positive contributions in facing various challenges during the current stage.

This came during his discussion with the Health Minister, Taha Al-Mutawakel, the general health situation and the ministry’s preparations for receiving the month of Ramadan and the summer season.

Bin Habtoor listened to a brief presentation by the minister on the health situation and the level of medical services in hospitals, facilities, and public and private centers, in accordance with the evaluation criteria adopted by the ministry improve health care services provided to patients.

Al-Mutawakel referred to the difficulties facing the ministry and its various sectors in light of the continuing aggression, blockade, acts of maritime piracy and the detention of oil derivative ships, which have exacerbated the health situation.
