Zionist occupation forces arrest 13 Palestinians from West Bank
SANAA, April 11 (YPA) – The Zionist occupation forces launched, last night and at dawn today, Sunday, a campaign of raids and arrests in separate areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Media Center reported that the occupation forces raided the home of the leader in Hamas and the candidate on its electoral list, “Jerusalem, Our Time”, prisoner Hassan Wardyan and his relatives, in the Handaza area east of Bethlehem, searched him and tampered with its contents, and arrested his son, the liberated prisoner, Mahmoud al-Wardyan.
The occupation forces also arrested three young men from the village of Harmala, east of Bethlehem, after they raided and searched the homes of their relatives.
And in Hebron, dozens of civilians were suffocated with tear gas, during clashes that erupted after the enemy forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
In occupied Jerusalem, clashes erupted with the occupation forces, during which they arrested 3 young men in the village of Issawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested two young men from their homes, after they raided and searched them and tampered with their contents.
The occupation forces also stormed the town of Qabatiya in Jenin and arrested three young men after they raided their relatives’ homes and tampered with their contents.
The recent period has witnessed the arrest of the occupation forces of many leaders of Hamas and its members, coinciding with the preparation for holding the legislative elections that were agreed to be held during the next month.
Seprate areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem witness daily night incursions, interspersed with raids and searches of homes, vandalizing their contents, and terrorizing their residents, especially women and children.
