SANAA, March 31 (YPA) – Settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, on Wednesday stormed an archaeological site in the town of Al-Samou, south of Hebron, and stormed Al-Tireh neighborhood in Ramallah in the central West Bank.
Palestinian sources reported that dozens of settlers stormed an archaeological Romanian site in the town, known as “The Tower”, and performed Talmudic rituals on the site.
The archaeological “Burj” area witnesses frequent incursions, especially on Jewish holidays. These monuments date back to the Roman era, and indicate that it is a Roman church, and next to it are the ruins of a mosque mihrab.
A number of settlers also stormed the outskirts of the Al-Tira neighborhood in Ramallah, from the direction of the town of Ain Qinya, northwest of the city, to perform Talmudic rituals to protect the enemy’s army.
Local sources reported, that the occupation forces provided protection to the settlers, who arrived in the area with several vehicles, for the purpose of performing religious rituals.
The occupation army protects the settlers while carrying out their attacks against Palestinian citizens, at a time when settlers escalate their aggressive attacks against the Palestinian people and their land.
