American convoy targeted with explosive device in southern Iraq

SANAA, March 30 (YPA) – An explosive device targeted on Tuesday a convoy of the American occupation forces in southern Iraq.

Iraqi sources reported that “a device planted by unidentified persons exploded targeting a logistical support convoy of the coalition forces as it passed through the city of Nasiriyah in Dhi Qar governorate.”

On Monday, the Iraqi resistance targeted three military convoys of the American occupation in the provinces of Diwaniyah and Babil.

It is noteworthy that the military convoys of the American coalition in Iraq, as well as the convoys of supply and support to it, are often exposed to continuous targeting in the southern governorates.
