Maduro proposes oil in exchange for Corona vaccine
SANAA, March 29 (YPA)-Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has announced that his country is seeking to provide the vaccine against the new Coronavirus(COVID-19).
He proposed oil in exchange for Corona vaccine for the people of Venezuela.
“Venezuela has oil tankers, it has oil customers, part of oil production can be allocated to ensure that all the vaccines venezuela needs are secured,” Maduro said Monday.
Venezuela began vaccinating the population with the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine on 18th of the last month , giving vaccination priority to medical personnel.
Earlier, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said that the first 100,000 doses of the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine against the Coronavirus were received as a batch.
