Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militias in Taiz

TAIZ, May 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Monday inflicted heavy casualties upon the coalition-backed militias in Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The operation killed and injured tens of the militias in al-Wazaih district and the west coast front.

In the same day, dozens of the coalition militias were killed and others wounded when the Yemeni army repelled an attack towards Alib crossing point in Asir province.

Earlier, the army destroyed five military vehicles of the militias in the western coast front.
