STC calls for expulsion of Islah from Hadramout, Shabwa, Mahra

ADEN, March 14 (YPA) – Acting President of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC), head of the negotiations affairs unit, Nasser Al-Khubaji called on Sunday for the expulsion of Islah Party militants from Shabwa, Hadramout, Mahra provinces.

Al-Khubaji confirmed that “members of terrorist organizations are free to do what they want in Shabwa districts, in coordination with leaders of the Islah militants.”

He called for the return of the so-called “Shabwani Elite force” backed by the UAE to Shabwa to preserve what he called security and to fight against terrorism according to the “Riyadh Agreement.”

Al-Khubaji condemned the provocative actions of the Islah militants against the citizens of Shabwa.
