Explosion hits military vehicle in Shabwah

SHABWAH, Feb. 19 (YPA) – A powerful explosion rocked Ataq city the capital of  Shabwah province in eastern Yemen on Friday, local sources reported.

According to the sources, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded and targeted   a military vehicle belonging to  the 21 Mika Brigade next to the Mosque of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, after performing Friday prayers in the center of Ataq.

The explosion left a state of terror among the mosque’s worshipers, but no casualties have been reported, one of the source added.
