Abductees’ mothers call for revealing fate of 38 forcibly disappeared in Aden

ADEN, Feb.16 (YPA) – The Abductees’ Mothers Association on Tuesday demanded the disclosure of the fate of 38 forcibly disappeared persons in secret prisons in Aden, southern Yemen.

This came in a statement issued by the Association during a vigil held in front of the headquarters of the Saudi-Emirati coalition in Aden.

“It is not the first time that the abductees’ mothers stood in front of the headquarters of the Arab Coalition to demand pressure on the competent authorities to reveal the fate of the forcibly disappeared,” the association said.

The statement added that “38 persons have been forcibly disappeared for five years in a way that violates the law, and their families do not know anything about them or their health conditions.”

The mothers of the abductees and forcibly disappeared persons called on all international organizations to put pressure on Saudi Arabia, the UAE and their members in Aden to uncover the forcibly disappeared and return them to their families and relatives.
