Yemen army foils infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed militias off Najran

NAJRAN, May 26 (YPA) –The Yemeni Army on Saturday foiled intensive infiltration attempts of Saudi-backed militias in the outskirts of Harad district off Najran province, inflicting heavy losses in the militias, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of militias were killed and others injured during their attempts to advance towards outskirts of Harad district of Hajjah province, the official added.

The official said that the US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes and Apache waged over 80 air strikes on the district to back its militias in their failed attempts to make progress on the ground.
