NCM alerts citizens about effects of cold weather in several areas

SANAA, Feb. 04 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Thursday alerted citizens to the need to prevent cold to very cold weather in the high areas of the provinces of Dhamar, Amran, Sanaa, Saada, Bayda, Dhalea and Ibb within the next 24 hours.

In its warning bulletin on Thursday, the center called on farmers to protect their agricultural crops from the effects of the cold weather in those provinces.

The center expected relatively cold weather in Mahweet, Hajjah, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Marib, Jawf and Hadramout provinces, with a gradual increase in the lower temperatures during the next two days.
