BAYDA, Jan. 30 (YPA) – At least two people were killed and 68 were injured as a gas filling station exploded on Saturday in the center of the Yemeni city of Bayda, according to Dr. Mujahid al-Khadari, director general the health Bureau in the province.
More than 20 of the injured suffered serious burns and were taken to burn centers at the capital Sanaa and Dhamar hospitals, Dr. Al-Khadari added.
About 45 people were taken to Al-Thawra General Hospital in Bayda and other wounded were distributed to the city’s hospitals, he explained.
The cause of the explosion was not known yet.
