FM receives new UNOCHA head’s credentials

SANAA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hisham Sharaf, received on Sunday a copy of credentials of the newly-appointed head of the United Nations Office of Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) to Yemen, Sajjad Mohammad Sajid.

During a meeting, held between the two officials, the minister welcomed the new director of the UNOCHA office, asserting all facilitations will be provided for him by the Ministry and the government to perform his duties.

Meanwhile, the UN official emphasized that the humanitarian situation in Yemen enjoys the attention and care of the United Nations at all levels.
