Army thwarts coalition forces’ attempt to advance in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni army units backed by the popular committees on Sunday managed to thwart an infiltration attempt by Saudi-led coalition forces in Hodeidah province, a military source said.

The coalition forces tried to advance towards the army positions in ‘Muthallath Al-Odein’ area in Hays district, the source explained.

The move comes in the context of the coalition’s continued military escalation and its violations of the Sweden agreement in the province.
