Fierce clashes erupt in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 8 (YPA) – Fierce clashes broke out on Friday between the Saudi-led coalition recruits in Taiz province, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the clashes erupted between between gunmen belonging to the Salafist leader “Abu Abbas and military vehicles of the so-called Central Security forces, in the city of Mocha.

This came after hours of clashes that erupted in the same city between militants of “Tariq Afash” forces and the so-called Tihama Armed Resistance, which left many dead and wounded.

The city of Mocha has seen unstable security conditions with the escalation of disputes and conflict between the armed factions backed by the UAE.
