Saudi Arabia tries to overthrow Yemeni identity in Mahra: Official

SANAA, Jan. 4 (YPA) – A southern politician affirmed on Monday that Saudi Arabia has tried to overthrow Yemeni identity in Mahra province, east of Yemen.

The politician, Yasser Al-Yamani, said on Twitter that the Saudi moves were carried out through the King Salman Center, the Saudi Program and Saudi ambassador Al-Jaber to target the province to be turned into a Saudi identity.

Al-Yamani considered the those moves aimed to occupy the land and identity of the province, calling on the Yemeni people to stand together to reject any Saudi or Emirati names on Yemeni lands and educational facilities.
