11 workers killed in armed attack in Pakistan

SANAA, Jun. 3 (YPA) – 11 workers were killed and others were wounded, after unknown gunmen shot them on Sunday in the Balochistan province, southwest of Pakistan.
According to Xinhua, the police said that armed men took the miners to the nearby mountains, where they shot them.

The police confirmed that 11 people were killed and three others were wounded, while it was reported that a number of the wounded were in critical condition.

The police added that the wounded were taken to hospital for treatment, and police, local administration and border police units cordoned off the area immediately after the accident.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
