HADRAMOUT, Jan. 02 (YPA) – Armed confrontations between tribes of Amad valley in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen, renewed on Saturday for the second day in a row, local sources said.
The sources confirmed that the clashes between ‘Al Hamid’ and ‘Hamad bin Ali’ tribes, which broke out on Friday with heavy weapons near the so-called First Military Region, left dead and wounded.
The leadership of the Military Region ignored the intervention between the tribes to stop the clashes and protect the people, the sources added.
The areas under the control of Saudi-led coalition suffer from insecurity and a remarkably high crime rate.
