‘Yemenia’ announces canceling its flights from Aden airport

SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Yemen Airways company “Yemenia” announced, in a statement issued Wednesday, that it canceled its flights from Aden airport after the bombings that targeted the airport, during the arrival of the Saudi-backed government at the airport this afternoon.

“Today’s flight to Cairo No. 613 will be canceled until further notice, ” the company said, adding “As for flight 601 today, on December 30, it will be diverted to Sayoun Airport.”

Local media revealed that a UN plane was on its way to the runway at Aden Airport, but it changed route after the explosions that hit the airport.
