US Interior Secretary tests positive for Covid-19

SANAA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – Medical tests have confirmed that US Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt has been infected with the new coronavirus (Covid-19), According to Reuters.

A spokesman for the US Interior Ministry was quoted as saying in a letter that the results of Bernhardt’s examination, 51, were positive on Wednesday, noting that the minister had no symptoms.

The spokesman stated that Bernhardt continued to perform his duties from quarantine.

This comes a day after US  Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was quarantined after he was found to be in contact with a person with Covid-19 recently.
