2 killed, 20 wounded in bus incident in Mexico

SANAA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – A bus carrying participants in a rally organized by the National Front against Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador overturned yesterday in the northeastern state of Tamaulipas, El Universal reported.

The newspaper said on its website that the incident left two people dead  and wounded more than 20 others.

The paper reported that the bus was coming from Mexico City.

Several teams of rescuers and doctors arrived at the scene and first aid was provided to the passengers.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus driver exceeded the speed limit and lost control. The competent regional authorities have begun to investigate the circumstances and circumstances of the incident.
