Second wave of coronavirus hits Egypt

SANAA, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Egypt on Sunday officially announced the country enter into the second wave of the new Coronavirus.

This was stated by Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed, during her meeting to determine the availability of medicines and medical supplies in conjunction with the start of the second wave of the epidemic.

Khalid Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Information and spokesperson for the ministry, said that during the meeting, the strategic stock of medicines and medical supplies was reviewed to provide all needs at the local level, especially the medicines of the treatment protocol for the new coronavirus, emergency medicines, and medical and preventive supplies.
