Saudi-Emirati concern over Biden’s victory

SANAA, Nov. 7 (YPA) – Israel on Saturday revealed growing fears among Arab politicians about the victory of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

This comes on the eve of Biden’s continued lead in votes  over President Donald Trump.

Saudi, Emirati, Egyptian and Bahraini officials expressed concerns about the influence of Biden’s advisers on the US position on the nuclear deal with Iran, according to Israeli Today newspaper.

They view Biden’s return to the deal from which Trump withdrew would be a major blow to their alliance with Israel.

They said in remarks that the United States’ re-entry into the Nuclear Deal, which was concluded during the Democratic era in the White House, and the lifting of sanctions on Tehran would strengthen Iran’s presence and keep them and Israel alone, which could affect their alliance that has been fueling by Trump administration, the newspaper explained.

According to the paper, they have threatened several steps, including the withdrawal of Sudan, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates from recent normalization agreements.
