SANAA, Nov. 5 (YPA) – An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale jolted the southern Iranian city of Ashkanan.
The earthquake occurred at 7:48 am local time in Ashkanan at a depth of 21 kilometers, according to the Tehran University Seismological Center.
“The earthquake did not result in any loss of life or property,” Fars Rahim Azadi, director general of the Emergency Center in Fars province, told IRNA, adding that rescue and relief forces went to the area and were ready to provide full services there.
