FM offers condolences to Austrian counterpart

SANAA, 3 (YPA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs,Hisham Sharaf, sent on Tuesday a cable of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg.

In the cable, Sharaf condoled Schallenberg, and the Austrian government, people and the families of the victims in Monday’s terrorist attack that hit the capital, Austria, and killed and wounded a number of civilians.

Sharaf expressed Yemen’s condemnation of terrorism in all its forms at the local or international level, reiterating the need to intensify efforts to combat and eradicate this phenomenon.

The minister showed Yemen’s solidarity with the Republic of Austria in the terrorist incident, reaffirming the necessity to abandon hate speech and contempt for religions and religious symbols, and to promote dialogue between religions and civilizations.
