SANAA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center predicted that effects of cold air masses on mountain provinces, parts of deserts and inland plateaus will continue to affect the region over the next 24 hours.
The center noted in its air bulletin that cold and dry skies continue on large parts of the mountain highland chain, especially the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Al-Bayda and Dhalea.
This also includes the high-rise areas of Ibb, Lahj, Abyan and Taiz provinces and parts of the deserts and inland plateaus during the night and early morning hours.
The Centre warned citizens of low temperatures, especially the elderly, the sick, children and workers during the night and early morning, and warned farmers of the effects of cold weather on their livestock and crops.
