Parliament listens to gov’t letters, reviews reports of Information, Education Committees
SANAA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – The Parliament listened, in Saturday’s meeting headed by Speaker Yahya Al-Ra’i, to the government’s letters on the memorandum of the Minister of Endowments and Guidance on the draft law establishing the Higher Institute for Guidance.
The Parliament approved the presence of the Minister of Endowments and Guidance to present the bill in a future session.
The House of Representatives also heard from the Minister of State to the government’s letter about the memorandum of the Minister of Oil and Minerals regarding the previous recommendations of the House contained in the report of the Development, Oil and Mineral Resources Committee on the continuing crisis of fuel.
The Parliament approved the referral of the memorandum to a specialized committee to study it and submit a report on it.
In its meeting, the House also reviewed a supplementary report of the Media, Culture and Tourism Committee on the materials that the House had returned to the Committee for discussion on the manuscripts draft law.
The Parliament postponed the discussion of the report to a future session, in the presence of the competent government side.
Moreover, the House of Representatives reviewed a supplementary report of the Education Committee on the conditions of technical education and vocational training as a result of the aggression and its impact on the educational process.
