After declaring Trump had COVID-19, Moscow proposes to give him Russian vaccine

MOSCOW, Oct. 2 (YP) – Alexander Ginsburg, Director of the Russian Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, which developed the Sputnik-5 vaccine against the Corona virus, suggested that the US President Donald Trump should take the vaccine after it was confirmed that he was infected with the virus.

“We hope that Trump and his wife will be well, and it will be good for them to take the Russian vaccine,” Ginsburg said in an interview with the Russian news agency (Sputnik).

Earlier in the day, Trump announced that he and his wife had tested positive for COVID-19.
