Iranian FM denies existence of negotiations with Americans

SANAA, Sept. 28 (YPA) –  Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman on Monday Saeed Khatibzadeh confirmed that there are no negotiations with the Americans, there will be no negotiations, and what is rumored is for US domestic consumption.
Khatibzadeh indicated during his weekly press conference that the regional situation does not tolerate new clashes, stressing that Tehran calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan for an immediate ceasefire and the start of dialogue.

I consider that stopping the clashes and resorting to dialogue and political talks is the only way to solve the crisis between the republics of Azerbaijan and Armenia, and he said that the military solution is not the appropriate solution to these differences, and that Iran will employ everything it can to solve this conflict.

He added that Tehran is following developments in the situation closely and with interest, and is in contact with the two parties to the conflict to reach an immediate ceasefire, and will continue its efforts in this field.
