Fierce clashes break out in Abyan

ABYAN, Aug. 29 (YPA) – Fierce clashes broke out on Saturday among Islah party’s militias and southern transitional militiamen in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that UAE sent military reinforcements for their troops in the southern council.

The southern militants in Aden province also sent reinforcements to Abyan province, the sources added.

The sources declared that violent clashes erupted among Islah and the southern militia in several districts of the province.

The clashes renewed in al-Taria front, medium and heavy machine guns were used and resulted in the death of tens militants.
