STC militias deprive residential neighborhood in Aden of electricity

ADEN, Aug. 18 (YPA) – One of military patrols of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias had caused electricity out of a full residential neighborhood in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, local sources reported Tuesday.

The sources explained that a military car belonging to the STC militia was going at crazy speed and collided with an electricity column on Saturday, which led to the outage of the electricity service in al-Mansoura prison neighborhood for the fourth day in a row.

The accident caused electricity to cut off 50 homes in the neighborhood, the sources added, indicating that the STC militias refused to repair the electricity column, and imposed the costs of repair on the people and residents of the neighborhood.
