Israeli authorities close fishing zone off Gaza Strip completely

SANAA, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation authorities announced Sunday morning the closure of the Gaza strip’s coasts completely to the fishermen’s movement, in response to the launch of “two missiles” from the Gaza Strip towards the Gaza envelope

According to the Website of the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (Makan), The Israeli Minister of Defense, Benny Gantz, decided to close the permitted fishing area in the sea off the shores of Gaza absolutely from this morning until further notice.

A rocket landed in the courtyard of a house in the city of Sderot, slightly injuring a man and damaging property, the authority said, adding that two women were also bruised

The Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot said the decision was taken following the rocket fire from Gaza last night and the continued firing of incendiary balloons towards the settlements in Gaza’ envelope.
