STC accuses Islah of handing over positions to al-Qaeda elements

ABYAN, Aug. 16 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias has accused Hadi’s forces and al-Islah militias of changing their front lines with al-Qaeda elements in Abyan.

The so-called military spokesman of the STC’s militias in Abyan, Mohammed al-Naqeeb said that  the “Al-Islah Party”  handed over a number of military positions belonging to its militias in Abyan province to al-Qaeda and ISIS elements.

Al-Naqib added the handover of military positions to al-Qaeda and ISIS is aimed at paving the way for the Saudi commission.

Military commanders loyal to the STC confirmed the existence of conclusive evidence on the ground proving the involvement of Muslims brotherhood militias and Hadi forces by handing over their front positions to al-Qaeda and ISIS elements.
