Yemen’s army shoots down US spy aircraft in Jizan

JIZAN, Aug. 2 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s air defenses shot down on Sunday an American reconnaissance plane off Jizan province, a Yemeni army spokesman said in a statement.

The spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, that the air defenses shot down an American reconnaissance plane (RQ-20) over the sky of Haradh district off Jizan with an appropriate weapon.

Sarie pointed out that the operation was documented by the military media outlets.
