Torrents in Abyan deprive travelers from reaching Aden

ABYAN, Aug. 1 (YPA) – Hundreds of travelers are stranded in Abyan province and unable to reach the occupied Aden province due to the interruption of the asphalt line due to the torrents witnessed recently by the province, informed sources reported on Saturday.

A number of travelers confirmed that the floods cut off the main road after Ahwar city in Abyan, which led to the accumulation of hundreds of cars while waiting for the repair of the road.

The sources pointed out that the flowing torrents due to heavy rains caused tremendous damage in the road, and the cars are still stuck since Friday until Saturday noon, amid appeals to the concerned authorities for help.
