A senior official in Hadi’s government defected, arrived in Sanaa

SANAA, July 26 (YPA) – A senior official in Hadi’s government announced on Saturday that he had defected from coalition -backed government and arrived in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of the October 14 Foundation for Journalism and Media Mohammed Ali Saad announced on Saturday his defection from Hadi’s government after his arrival in the capital Sanaa.

Mohammed Ali Saad was received by Information Minister, Daifallah al-Shami.

During the meeting , Saad revealed what is happening in the southern provinces, especially Aden, and the extent of the breakdown in services and the terrible insecurity in southern Yemen.

“Those who wonder why I visited Sanaa, I came to protect my country from occupation, fragmentation and fighting, and that’s what I came for,” Saad said.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of October 14 received a remarkable official welcome from the Minister of Information.

Al-Shami said it is a great honor for them to have Mohammed Saad among them, describing him as a father, teacher and a school in media and politics.
